As a community-based, not-for-profit organisation, we understand the challenges skilled migrants face when entering a new job market—limited networks, unfamiliar recruitment processes and difficulty securing roles in their professional fields. Our programs are designed to bridge these gaps through practical training, mentoring and ongoing support.
Our journey began with initial funding from the Department of Home Affairs, and we are proud to continue expanding our impact with support from the Office of Multicultural Affairs.
Ignite Potential remains committed to empowering migrants to thrive, contribute and feel a strong sense of belonging in their new home.
Ignite Worldclass Program
In 2019, Ignite presented at Hobart, where our Chair, Mr. Sulal Mathai, shared a key program outcome:
72% of skilled migrant participants secured employment in their own professional field, contributing meaningfully to the prosperity of Australia.
This success laid the foundation for the expansion of our services into a broader suite of community support programs.
